About him
I’ve had a fantastic life and hopefully it will continue. My travels have taken me to Hong Kong, Bali,Pangkor Laut,Goa,New York,Toronto,Niagra Falls and quite a bit of Europe, but my favourite city is Capetown.
I’m now looking for my soulmate to continue the travels.
I’m regarded as being intelligent ,funny and good company. I can hold a conversation on most things and I’m a good listener.
I’m not wayout more a conventional type who dresses for the occasion.
One eccentricity I do have is I live on a Narrowboat which I find suits me as a base for my travels so if you’d like to travel the canals with me come aboard you’d be welcome
I had three main careers firstly 25 years working for Cadbury’s the last 10 years in the International Division as a Senior Manager.
Then I worked as Distribution Manager for a family owned Giftware company based at their Birmingham hub .
Finally Transport Manager in the NHS for 10years.
I have two children who I’m close to and in July 2024 I was made a great grandfather(see photo). I have one brother who is younger than me but we meet up as often as possible.
In my younger days I played Cricket for Bournville and Chorleywood, when I’d finished playing I had the privilege of being Chairman of three cricket clubs Bournville, Wishaw & Hewell Grange
and I had the honour to be Chairman of Cadburys Sports & Social Club.
I enjoy tennis, badminton, lawn bowls, plus I play bridge, and other card games, I enjoy board games and quizzes.
