About him
Hello there…thanks for dropping by, after having put out the recycling and the kettle having boiled. One of the more tricky things I’ve ever written, and without cliches or corny lines.
I’ve been occasionally told that, from a certain angle in a certain light, that I’m an attractive man; you can decide. I was once in a long-term relationship that ended in bereavement. I don’t have children, but would be happy to borrow any of yours should you wish.
I work hard, and try to find a happy work/life balance. I have my own place. I think I’ve a nice personality, a curious nature. I listen, especially to those who can also listen to me.
In no particular order, I am a music lover, sometimes popping up at a concert. Over the recent years, I have become an accidental poet and aspiring writer and local performer (my poems are brief, so don’t worry) and are for children and adults. I am a sport lover and sufferer (I’ll tell you more in person). I’m a nature lover, garden botherer, and love a public park. I’m a pet stroker, should it want me too. I am an occasional cyclist and distance walker, though yoga and pilates are my current thing with regularly. Can wear a suit, a suede jacket, workwear and sportwear, but not simultaneously. Tries to find the bright side of life.
I’m not here specifically looking for a “soulmate” – I’m happy to expand my social circle and if love comes from that, all the better. That having been said, I do miss cuddles, kisses, holding hands and making whoopee cushions making rude noises.
I am loving, kind and genuine. I know we all have our ‘life experiences’; some good, some less so. I try not to dwell on either too much, and always want to act positively. I like to think I work at all relationships.

Hmm… If only I knew -. I don’t have a particular checklist or unreasonable expectations. My small (but eclectic!) significant back-history offers little in the way of helpful guidance, but by now I’m sure I don’t have a particular type, physical or otherwise: it’ll be about how we interact. I’m happy to meet and say more in person should you wish to find out more.
I’m looking for who knows something about the outdoors. Someone who might like having a poem occasionally read to them. Someone who either has a sports team, plays, or at least "gets" why sport matters to others.
I’m looking for a genuine person. Someone who is thoughtful and considerate - someone who knows in themselves about how other people can fit into their lives and expresses it clearly and consistently. Who takes life seriously, but who doesn't take themselves too seriously.
