I'm an independently minded liberal person that likes to keep active and interested in life and society. I enjoy playing and watching sport, being in nature and attending cultural events especially music, comedy and informative talks. I read a lot especially current affairs and politics although I'm no ideologue, just very interested in how politics, economics and organisations shape our lives.
I think life has to be experienced to the fullest possible extent with a large dollop of humour.

I like women who know their own mind, who see men as their equals and enjoy sharing life with other people without fear or too much favour. A sense of humour is essential as is a willingness to enjoy the outdoors, sport and some of, but not too many, of the finer things in life (open to definition).
I like people who look after themselves, are not obsessed with their health but are aware of healthy living without going to the extremes.
