About him
What can I say? Modesty was once described as the art of encouraging people to find out for themselves how wonderful you are! To get you started, I would say that I am an optimistic type who is happy go lucky. I will try anything once.
I particularly enjoying travelling and seeking out new experiences. I recently took a career break and travelled extensively. I like to travel off the beaten track and my favourite destination so far has to be trekking through the Borneo rainforest. That said, I always seem to have a laugh wherever I go!
I enjoy watching most sports although I no longer participate in as many as I used to. I am still a keen climber, but don't go as often as I would like as it is hard to find the time. I go to the gym to stay in shape, although I wouldn't describe myself as obsessive. It is as much for the social aspect as for the exercise and my idea of a warm down is a hot shower and a cold beer!
I also enjoy live shows, and in particular stand up comedy. Although they are childish, when I need a laugh, you can't go wrong with The Simpsons or Red Dwarf! At home I am a keen cook and although my enthusiasm is not matched by my talent I would say I am decent and I haven't poisoned anyone yet!
