I've learnt that the best relationships happen when two people have made peace with their past and are genuinely ready to build something new together. We all have a history, and I'm always happy to listen and support, but I believe a relationship should be about creating a future rather than healing old wounds.
I've done a lot of work on myself, and I'm grateful for what it's taught me. I'm hoping to meet someone who's done the same, or at least the heavy lifting, and is in a good place emotionally.
